The Vail 32 Premium Vent-Free Fireplaces feature hem-bent seams that provide a better seal while eliminating dozens of screws and fasteners. The result is a lighter, more rigid box that's easier to install. Ceramic glazed pellets in the burner tumble and swirl the gas to produce a natural flickering flame.
1. What is the difference between the ignition types?
The basic Vail 32 (Thermostat with Hi-Low Knob) operates with a built-in modulating hydraulic thermostat that automatically manages the flame to maintain your preset room temperature. The Remote-Ready Millivolt Vail 32 (Millivolt with On/Off Switch) works with any of our battery operated Thermostat Remote Controls, or connect to a simple wall switch or wall thermostat. The Intermittent Pilot Vail (Intermittent Pilot with On/Off Switch) saves even more energy by eliminating the standing pilot - yet can still operate in a power outage with a battery backup.
2. How will the fireplace be delivered? Will the delivery driver bring it into my house?
All fireplaces are delivered via freight (tractor trailer truck) to the specified street address you provide us, we do provide free lift gate service with all freight deliveries. The delivery driver is only responsible for unloading the items from the truck, not to move them anywhere. For more information on the delivery process visit ourFAQ page.
3. Where are the accessories for this fireplace?

Yes, remotes are available for this fireplace. Thanks for the question!
How many square feet will the Empire Vail Premium 32 Vent Free Fireplace (VFP32BP) heat?
In theory, as a secondary heat source, it could heat well over 1,000 sq ft. The problem is that all of the heat is from a single point, so the area near the fireplace will most likely be much warmer than the areas further from the fireplace. Thanks for your question!
