How is the stove vented?
The Arlington is typically vented using an appliance adapter on the stove and continuing with DuraVent Direct Vent Pro 4"x6 5/8" venting. The vent begins at a 45° angle, from there you can go horizontal or vertical. If you need any assistance with planning your venting system don't hesitate to call, we're here to help. (844)635-5499
Does the stove come with a remote control?
No, the Arlington is not sold with a remote control. You can find remotes, blowers and more on the accessories page.

Would the Napoleon GDS20 heat a room with the dimensions of 20' x 24' x 12' (high ceilings)? Also what would I need to purchase with the stove
Depending on your local climate, exterior walls, windows and insulation, it should. The input of the stove is 20,000 BTU's which will have an output of roughly 16,000 BTU's. A very rough calculation would say that you can multiply the square footage by 35 to find your required heating value, which would be 14,700 BTU's, again this is a very rough calculation. If there is any other type of heating in the space, then yes, it would absolutely be enough. If this is the sole heating source in a stand along building, it would be on the edge, depending on your location.
To complete the stove, you would only be required to add the venting components. If you would like to add a blower, you would use the GS-65KT. For a remote, you can choose either the F45 or the F60. If you're going to use this on a thermostat, I recommend the wall mounted digital thermostat.
I'm available to help design the venting system and put together all of the components you would need, but it's easiest done with a brief phone call to determine how the venting will be run. If you have a moment tomorrow to give us a call that would be great, (844)635-5499, otherwise we can continue the conversionation via email, firstname.lastname@example.org.
