This part is designed to adapt a Napoleon stove utilizing 5x8" direct vent pipe to Simpson DuraVent 5x8" pipe.

Different manufacturers make vent pipe with different end connections, hence the need for an adapter. This part will fit directly onto your Napoleon fireplace, from there you can use any of the Simpson DuraVent Direct Vent Pro 5x8" Components.

    This adapter is for connecting directly to a Napoleon fireplace.  It will not connect to Napoleon's flex venting.  You can use either flex venting or rigid venting with Napoleon fireplaces, you can't use both in the same insatallation.  I hope that helps.  Thanks for your question!
